Horse Blanket

We are happy to present the third of a capsule collection of cashmere blankets designed by Robert Gillan, a good friend and Director of Knowledge Exchange at Edinburgh College of Art.

‘Horse’ blanket has been inspired by traditional ways of mark making and also by vintage childrens books on printmaking from the 50’s and 60’s. Robert became interested in prints made by primary school children incorporating mono-prints, lino-cuts and off set printing. Combining these techniques with personal drawing and a colour palette inspired by Robert’s collection of Stig Lindberg ceramics, the result is, well ………… amazing.

Knitted to order in our studio in the Scottish Borders using only the finest cashmere sourced from the very best suppliers, a ROAM blanket will last a lifetime with a little love and care.

We think that this piece could be a collectors item in a few years!
